We are happy to communicate that our project has been successfully ended with promising results (such as: development of statistical weighting approach to carry out long-term follow up studies; improved assay protocolsidentified key genes and pathways that could influence the disease progression) that will support further scientific research in the topic. Our talented ESRs are very well on-track with the preparation of their thesis, surely the beginning of 2024 will be very exciting period for most of them being busy with the defence of their thesis.

We are grateful to the European Commission for their support, with the funding of the project the scientific community is enriched with 13 highly educated, young PhD researcher.
