Akhil Garg
Akhil Garg received his engineering in computer science from the Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, India in 2012. After his engineering, he worked with different companies such as Philips, Radiometer, etc. He completed his master’s in Neuroscience from Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine (The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics). His Master thesis was “Computational Biomarker discovery for a range of diseases related to dementia” under the supervision of Dr. George Spyrou. After that, he worked for some time with companies, University and Research Institute as a researcher in the area of Machine learning, computational biology, programming, and neuroscience. He was then awarded a Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions Ph.D. fellowship from the Marie Curie ITN European Dohart-NET project under the supervision of Dr. Marcos Meseguer (IVI Valencia) with his secondment at the University of Oxford and University of Manchester.
Research Focus: His area of interest in monitoring and improving of Embryonic development using time lapse technique and monitoring of growth Media. Apart from that he will be also interested in monitoring the post implantation data to understand the improvisation, using different techniques such as Machine Learning, Data Science and Bioinformatics.
