Our Final DohART-NET Consortium and Board Meeting was organized on 20th November 2023.

We are happy to communicate that our project has been successfully ended with promising results (such as: development of statistical weighting approach to carry out long-term follow up studies; improved assay protocols; identified key genes and pathways that could influence the disease progression) that will support further scientific research in the topic. Our talented ESRs are very well on-track with the preparation of their thesis, surely the beginning of 2024 will be very exciting period for most of them being busy with the defence of their thesis.

We are grateful to the European Commission for their support, with the funding of the project the scientific community is enriched with 13 highly educated, young PhD researcher.

Congratulations to Alex Horanszky and the rest of the authors for publishing their great work about BPA effects on a 3D neural stem cell model.

In the authorship of Federica Lamberto, Bachuki Shashikadze, Salvo Danilo Lombardo, Alex Horánszky, Andrea Balogh, Kornél Kistamás, Melinda Zana, Jörg Menche, Thomas Fröhlich, and András Dinnyés the abstract entitled „Repeated low-dose Bisphenol A exposure induced alterations in human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes” has been recently presented on Eurotox Conference 2023, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
