Alex Horanszky
Alex received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Biomedical Sciences (Aston University, UK) in 2016 and 2018, respectively. His Bachelor’s thesis was focused on the effects of natural products on the insulin sensitivity of muscle cells, while his Master’s thesis was focused on the toxicity and mode of action of a novel nanoparticle and its potential suitability for use in cancer treatment. He recently joined the research group of Prof. Dr. András Dinnyés at BioTalentum (Gödöllő, Hungary) as an Early Stage Researcher (ESR/PhD) in the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks project DohART-NET.
Research Focus: Assessment of nutritional and environmental exposures on the neuronal differentiation of pluripotent stem cells.
